Wee Features

Wee has minimal functionality. It is CPU agnostic and not targeted for any platform. It implements basic features nothing extraordinary. It is inspired from C and Python but streeped down to basic features.

  • direct memory access
  • manual memory management
  • console only I/O
  • single source file extension: *.wee
  • infix arithmetic expressions
  • addition, subtraction, multiplication
  • bitwise operations
  • single line comments
  • multiple line comments

    • Restrictions:

  • no garbage collector
  • no reference counting
  • no exception handlers
  • no type system
  • no disk access
  • no ABI interface
  • no division operator
  • no functions
  • no Unicode support
  • no floating point numbers
