Wee version 5 looks cleaner than 4. In this version we emphasize the role of conditional modifier “if”. This keyword is used for two things: pattern matching expressions and filtering expressions.
Bitwise operators are completely replaced by intuitive operators: <<, >>, ~, @, &, | This makes Wee an excellent language for low level operations on bits. Future development will focus on low level programming.
String concatenation was changed from “&” to “+”. Pattern matching was reverted to “+>” while in operator was reverted to initial “:>” (collection generator).
